Kaden Kuhn Athlete Recruiting Story – Committed to the University of Cornell University

We would like to congratulate Kaden Kuhn on his commitment to Cornell University. Here is a highlight of his recruiting story from his father. Good luck as a Bear!
College Decision:
Cornell University
Why choose Cornell University?
High standards of athletics and academics
What makes Kaden excited about his future in college?
A life-changing opportunity to excel in a strong D1 baseball program alongside incredible coaches and teammates, and work toward an Ivy League education at one of the top Engineering schools in the nation.
Why would you recommend SportsForce to other student-athletes or parents?
Given that only 2-3% of high school varsity players get recruited directly to Division 1 baseball programs, and the NCAA roster reduction rules further limit available positions, and the transfer portal creates a free agency among older, more experienced players, the baseball recruiting landscape is extremely competitive even for very highly talented high school players. SportsForce helped us identify suitable programs, focus our investments toward the best returns, advocate on our behalf, and ultimately secure multiple attractive offers. It was a win-win situation.
What was your recruiting journey like before SportsForce?
We attended a number of prospect camps. While the camp experiences and campus visits were highly valuable to our recruiting journey, as a family, we learned we needed professional support.
What did your personal recruiting advisor do that made a significant impact?
Coach Ryan Thompson is an exceptional advisor with extensive experience and a broad network of contacts. He communicates in a straightforward manner and has a no-nonsense approach that is greatly appreciated. He clearly identifies where an athlete fits and where they might not. This focused strategy helped us gain new momentum in front of a more suitable audience.

Coach Ryan was very engaged in routine conversations with both family and athlete alike. He helped clarify filming requirements, proactively connected with target coaches through advocacy and pre-messaging, and provided valuable advice to improve body mechanics, flexibility, and fluidity both on and off the field. Additionally, Coach Ryan played a crucial role in ensuring that our son’s final selection was based on the optimal choice to meet our athletic and academic goals.

Over the last 15 years, SportsForce has helped over 1,000 student-athletes and families successfully navigate the college recruiting and athletic scholarship process while saving families on average $80,000 in college expenses.

Our Mission at SportsForce Baseball:

We are on a mission to help our select number of qualified and evaluated players maximize their recruiting offers and make the best college decision.

Started by CEO & Founder Andrew Beinbrink, SportsForce Baseball is a nationally recognized college recruiting advisory group with over 40 former college coaches, players, and MLB scouts in 10 different states. During the last 14+ years, we’ve helped over 1,000 players make their college commitments.

Read below, why we are different from every recruiting group in the country.

Why SportsForce is Different:

* View our Home Page Video Unlike most recruiting companies, we do not just partner with anyone for our hands-on recruiting programs.  Instead, we only partner with qualified players who meet our Five academic, athletic, and coachability selection factors.

We evaluate between 10,000-12,000 players each summer and fall at top showcases and selectively advise, and advocate for only a limited number of players each year by directly contacting college coaches to help them maximize recruiting offers.

Each of our expert college recruiters is limited to how many players they will advise so there is the best combination of hands-on guidance and personal recruiting outreach to college coaches.
