Why choose Gonzaga University?
We really were impressed with the coaches and the baseball program as a whole. The baseball complex was amazing, and the campus was beautiful. Being a private Catholic, Jesuit university, we felt it aligned with our values. The academic program met our expectations, and we were very impressed with the teams’ academic advisor. We do like the fact that the school is pretty accessible by a quick direct flight for visits either to the school or when our son wants to come home for visits. Also, Gonzaga has a great name and known for having competitive sports programs that get national recognition as well as a highly ranked academic program. This was also important to us.
What makes Hudson excited about his future in college?

Why would you recommend SportsForce to other student-athletes or parents?
We would recommend SportsForce because the amount of information and assistance that they provide was absolutely necessary if you have never gone through this before. They provide a roadmap that otherwise you would not have a clue on how to even get started. They follow up with how the progress is going and connect you with colleges across the county. What was your recruiting journey like before SportsForce?
Before SportsForce, we had no idea on how to best reach out to colleges and universities. We had limited knowledge of how to use social media to our benefit, and how to get the attention of college recruiters.
What did your personal recruiting advisor do that made a significant impact?
Our advisor, Ryan Thompson, was instrumental in this entire process. Not only was he knowledgeable about all aspects of recruiting, but almost every college coach we spoke to knew him personally. This gave us great comfort knowing we were working with somebody that really knew how this recruitment process worked. Being new to all of this, Ryan took the time to explain in depth what we can expect, and the best way to get there. He listened to what was important to our son and provided honest feedback and guidance along the way. He was there for all stages. From the initial video clip creations, to making sure we were keeping up on our social media presence. He provided advice on which tournaments were ones that were beneficial to play in, and which ones would not provide much exposure. And lastly, to the final stages of offerings from multiple colleges and how to navigate those conversations with the coaches. Ryan was there as an advisor to our son when he just had random questions about recruiting, and this happened often with countless texts and phone calls. We are very thankful for all Ryan has done for our son to help guide him to his next chapter of college baseball.
