Why did you choose Swarthmore College?
I chose Swarthmore because it is a perfect fit for me athletically as I felt like I will be joining a winning team where I can play and compete at. Academically, Swarthmore will prepare me for my life after baseball. It was also in a desirable location for me as there are people in the area that I already know.
What makes you excited about his future in college?
I am excited to get a world-class education while also being able to play baseball at the next level.
Why would you recommend SportsForce to other student-athletes or parents?
SportsForce gives you an honest evaluation and finds schools that fit what you want but are also realistic. They work hard to help you get exposure to these schools and have relationships with coaches who trust what they have to say.
What was your recruiting journey like before SportsForce?
It was not as productive and based more on hope than real results.
What did your personal recruiting advisor do that made a significant impact?
Coach Ryan Thompson gave me an honest evaluation and guided us to schools that would be a good fit for me academically, athletically, and my family values. He helped me with sending emails and videos to coaches and was in direct contact with many of the coaches. This allowed him to give me real, concrete feedback and advice on next steps. He also directed me to the right camps that had a successful track record and gave me exposure to the schools that I was interested in. He was active in navigating my high school performance and travel ball experience as well.
